Company President Steve Dibble not only believes volunteering builds communities he lives it. He is an active Boyscout leader (Cubmaster 6 years and Assistant Scoutmaster 6 more years) and is active planning all sorts of exciting camping and high adventure trips both at the Troop level and within the Yankee Clipper Council. Steve lectors and volunteers in his church. He volunteers regularly on environmental awareness and conservation projects. Steve has coached Little League and Youth Basketball for 12 years, but his favorite is teaching chess. He has run free chess clubs for nearly 20 years where over 850 children have learned to play.

Most of Dibble & Sons’ staff volunteers in similar activities but one of Dibble & Sons playground designers, Tony Scanlon, focuses his involvement on social improvement and cancer research efforts. Tony can often be found donating his time to help the needy, assisting disabled and elderly people, and assisting on a cancer research fundraiser.

Steve has successfully supervised hundreds of volunteer community build playgrounds and encourages all of our staff to have rich community spirit, volunteer often, and yes…..lead community playground builds and suggest the most appropriate equipment for your project.
